It’s been a little over a year since I did my last current beauty must-haves, {link here} so I thought I’d update you! Now, before I dive into some of my recent product obsessions, I will say that I still use mostly everything in my last post almost daily. These products are just new things I’ve added to the collection! Without further ado:
1. ELF; Contour Brush
~ I fell in love with this brush the instant I got it. I used to use a dense, rounded brush to apply my contour {which I also still like to use occasionally} but this brush has been a game changer. It’s very soft, with synthetic bristles, and it’s pretty dense. The brush isn’t flimsy at all and picks up, as well as blends out contour colors amazingly!
2. NYX Go-To Palette; Wanderlust
~ This comes with eyeshadows, highlighter, blush, and a contour shade. All of which are extremely, extremely pigmented. With that being said, the colors are gorgeous {especially the plum eye shade}. The contour color is also probably my new favorite because it’s more of a neutral based color which is perfect for people with a more pinkish undertone like me.
3. Covergirl Lipstick; Creme
~ Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a nude lip kind of girl. I’ve been on the hunt for a nice nude lipstick that doesn’t give too much of a “concealer lip” coverage. This one however works perfectly for my skin! It has a bit of a light pink tint to it which doesn’t make it too much of a skin color.
4. NYC Cheek Glow; Park Avenue Plum
~ I don’t wear blush normally, but I’ve started to incorporate this product into my daily routine because I love how it looks! It’s pretty powdery, but blends nicely. It’s also more of a natural, darker blush which is what makes it wearable on a daily basis for me.
5. ELF Bronzer; Golden
~ I’ve recently been getting on the highlighter trend, and happened to pull this product out that I’ve had for quite awhile. It’s supposed to be a bronzer all together, but I like to use each shade for different purposes. The darkest one works great for a bronzer, but the two lighter shades work beautifully as highlights.
